There is no recline in any seat in Premium Economy. The Premium Economy sounded ideal, with some of the luxury and enhanced space of Business Class but at a greatly reduced rate. The personal screens are very small, Movies in foreign languages are rare, but for me legroom was more important and this was ok for an European airline ecept the missing space because of the entertainment box. First introduced to the fleet in 1993 by Air France, the A340-300 is a long-haul aircraft that can seat up to 300 passengers. But the comfort level of the seats is delightful; this was one of the few flights *ever* where I've actually gotten some sleep.

The business class cabin has a total of 30 seats in a 2-2-2 configuration, with … Not very good food but I had good room for leg and it was possible to sleep some hours on this seat. There also is only a small underseat sorage area for 19D and everybody (especially service carts and passengers from Premium Economy on the way to the lavatories step on your feet or bump into your knee.

While it doesn't offer the privacy like the other business cabins, it still offer the same amount of room and a flat bed. Air France’s Airbus A340s are becoming a rare sight. When the program was canceled in 2011, all firm orders of the aircraft had been delivered, unlike the Airbus A380 program. As other commenters have noted, the IFE is super ratchet. Horrible movie selection, the screens are marginally larger than an iPhone, the screen quality is horrendous, and if you want to use your own headphones, you need to place the adapter ever so perfectly in jack. Kjetil D on The tray table is smaller than row 15 and 16 and is almost on your lap and can be a little unstable Many people were trying to trade seats, entire families were just sitting down in a row and hoping nobody would evict them - not a way to do business on a 9 hour flight. In addition, the bulky plastic arms of the seat make it actually harder to move your knees to one side or the other. Furthermore, AirFrance has the guts to offer these row 20 seats at a surcharge choice for passengers wishing to be seated on a duo-seat closer to the exit of the plane.
