I really appreciate your experience and your tips!To add to this, I have been to Hardbloc in Alfortville (south-east suburb) last week, and it is also a rather nice gym, but I haven't been in the area long enough to compare it to the other Paris gyms.The boulders felt a little more strength-based (rather than technique-based) than what I was used to in my previous gym, which is obviously subjective, but they have a (biggish) area especially for children to climb, and a via ferrata-like balance route that they can take that runs over the bouldering area.

Blocbuster is also on a bus line, but I walked from the metro, which is a pretty long walk and probably wouldn't be that great with kids, though it takes you over the Seine and has a view of La Défense.
