CB Mike England (Wales)

Is it in the body language, who knows? he was with out a doubt the greatest and a lot of the older generation dont like to admit it they allways remember the good old days and we did not win anything big but we did with alan douglas was a brilliant player and loyal clubman but its shearer for meIt depends how old you are. .Speedie . It has to be Brian Douglas.

Ihave looked at the statistics and listened to other peoples views on players from way back, but my own personal experiences carry far more weight.

!Morten Gamst Pedersen Alan Shearer Tugay And BRAD F!morton gamst pedersen is defo da best n vry vry sxc. Prepared to put his head on the block for the cause.Shearer, maybe not the favourite, but without a doubt the bestAlan Shearer, even though I am not a Rovers fan I would say he was the best forward I have ever seen.ive got to go on telly on the pitch december 22nd to walk on with themts gotta be TUGAY why cos he has courage, skill, tenancity, endeavour, control, awareness, he has been a tremendous asset, last season he was fantasticHas To Be Brad Freidel without doubt the best Keeper ive ever seenSpeedie . The others can't really compare with that.Hard to say, we have had some great players, and some not so great, How about this for a team.Friedel, Berg, Hendry, Nelsen, Le Saux, Clayton, Tugay, Douglas, Sutton, Shearer, Duff. You also have to bare in mind that our points of view are relative to our personal experiences and judgements. Most of the strikers wouldn't have scored their goals without class wingers like them! Everyone who has mentioned M G Pederson, L Niell or any other recent players is well wrong. I think the greatest Rovers player of all time has got to be Simon Garner!! A shame he was a Geordie, and could not win more medals; but we did OK by him on that score.

Well, if you have then worry not because we have prepared a list of the Blackburn Players Salaries 2020 (Weekly Wages) and the full details about Blackburn Rovers players contracts . i bet he rues the day he did not sign for man utd but wont admit it.plenty more cups and hounersalan shearer but he sliped up if he had gone to man u he would have won hell of a lot more No question asked...its gotta be alan shearer...at the moment though, i would like to say that Roque Santa Cruz is well on his way to getting to the top...lets hope he stays with Rovers though to do it!when i read these letters its hard to beleive a lower league player as garner beat that great england man alan shearer. Ah, happy days.Ooh Colin Hendry. to any fooball fan he stood out a mile. he loves Rovers!sure, TUGAY is the best!As a PNE fan, hope you dont mind me having my 5 pennyworth. !shearer not just remembered by all rovers fans but all british fans and that says something all the others are also rans. 1 day i will. (that's then) but now i think Morten because of his creativity!!

Only kidding, it has to be Shearer, in all regards, who can top him? What a player!!!

A legend! Also Brad has got to get a mention, never makes a mistake.the votes for the greatest geordie are now coming in fast. HOWARD RADFORDbill eckersley a real team player. Or somewhere fancy in Lancashire... Who's voting for robbie savage, Jim Fratt and Norman Bell were betterClayton & Douglas stand out.

Brilliant.

If Shearer hadn't damaged his cruciate knee ligaments in December 92 who knows what could have happened.Rovers fans were anxious to see if Shearer would recover from such a major injury in the 1993/94 season. League appearances and goals includes data for the following league spells, but does not include test or play-off matches: simon garner because he is ther all time cult hero he beat alan sheaer.i have to say duff.

Also I watched a match aginst Burnley, where it was clear Douglas was man marked from the start. for years we had small gates and won nothing till shearer came along along so he was the greatest.

calamity goalkeeper Mike Dickens at Rochdale and at Southampton it is Ali Dia, who of course tricked our former boss into believing that he was George Weah's cousin. for commitment matt jansen always gave 100 percent but my number 1 has to be colin hendry. I havent to this day seen anyone turn on a six pence like he did and that includes the great Alan Shearer too. Magic!!! Should have played for England Lucas Neil.

Alan Shearer... Because he played his greatest season with us and was with us when we won the premiership For pure talent, I'd say Tugay. Should have gone onto better things, but did'nt Ron Clayton... x midfielder and leader ran a good paper shop. hes an absolute rock at the back. Colin Hendry was the greatest blackburn player everHow about Furgus Suter? Briggs was a superb goalscorer, but not premier class. and of these three Bryan Douglas was one of ours and I think our greatest.simon garner for me,When players wanted to play for their club and not just the money...blue and white blood in him....I remember the days of Quigley, Briggs, Vernon, Elvy, Leyland, Eckersley, Clayton (Ron & Ken), Woods, McGrath, Langton, England, Dobing, Byron, thru to the present, the greatest?
