I had a lot of apprehension. I can understand with not only my mind—I can understand it with my heart. I think that is the most important part—when somebody hears you and they can tell you what you are doing wrong—cause otherwise you will never hear your own mistakes. I can now follow my own speaking with a fluent and almost perfect stress in words and sentences. I can hear myself continue to have occasional problems with pronunciation, especially with vowels, but I feel much more confident. I just incorporated everything that I learned in the training videos into my everyday conversations and I realized I was getting better with this practice. I strongly recommend this program to everybody interested in elocution and generally trying to improve their speaking skills.

A stressed syllable is by definition stronger, longer, higher.So, I use the symbol /ʌ/ to emphasize visually that a syllable is stressed. We definitely will continue keeping in touch. Before I decided to do that I actually bought a CD with another program. I spent about a year doing that and it didn’t help me at all.
