But it isn't readying any of the wifi networks that my husbands iphone is picking up. It came with completely differnt part number, but worked perfectly . Wi-Fi Assist will not be activated if an app is running in the background. Specifically, instead of WIFI in settings, I have WLAN. So your question does not make much sense, at least to me. A technology-lover and a writer by heart.
