Local Coop is one thing, split screen another.. although it certainly should be doable with 2 players.. imagine 4 people playing on a 14" monitor ;) I'm still waiting for local co-op, either split screen or not. As long as we can play it with two or more persons each with it's own controller on the same PC, I'm fine. I always got confused with halo split screen I could never remember if I was driving or shooting the gun. Until then, it will stay in my wishlist. Items that Astroneers craft and find in the world can all be snapped and connected together to create unique creations for any situation.
