! Elegant!! After swapping both keyboards’ key caps now my new RGB K70 is perfectly perfect! Each includes per-key RGB backlighting, dedicated media keys, and onboard profile storage for taking the configuration anywhere. I think I paid $120 or so for mine (probably on sale, but don't remember as far as the MSRP) which has basic non-customizable LED lighting. All three boards are available now from the Corsair website and other e/retailers. c-attack's PC Specs : Join Date: Jun 2014. You don't have to turn the LEDs on, I almost never do. I'd say I prefer the non-RGB switches because they're stiffer, but that's about it.They're also louder so some days I wonder.I have a K70 and it's a great keyboard.

Now the MSRP is up to $170 and there really don't seem to be many differences other than the LEDs. Corsair recently announced the release of their new K70 RGB MK.2 and Strafe RGB MK.2 gaming keyboards.

The keyboard includes FPS and MOBA keycap sets that are textured and contoured for easy location of the primary ‘gaming’ keys. Other than that, the features are the same between the regular and SE version of the board.

The Strafe Mk.2 looks an awful lot like Corsair took a last-gen Strafe and mixed it with a Corsair K70.

K70 LUX vs. K70 MK.2 Differences? Along with the keycaps, the keyboard has dedicated volume and multimedia controls allowing users to quickly adjust audio without jumping out of the game. They're getting a bit expensive.I thought the original K70 had only an aluminum backplate, but the body was all plastic.I thought all the K series had the metal body when they started out, like way back when the Fn keys weren't even mechanical but rubber domes...
