The 1920 is brighter and has a larger hot spot.

Vincent Camenzuli. My SL lens is all scratched up now while the Pelican still looks new. Speedsix. Forward clicky, one mode unless you want the low and that easy enough to get to. The main difference between the older one and the new one is the two modes and brighter high. I am going to buy the 1910 just for fun as I am so pleased with the 1920. Sometimes it’s just for a quick inspection and sometimes it’s to work by. I now own 3 of these. 5.0 out of 5 stars Great Light!!!! A well designed tool is a joy to own and use. I’m a pen light and headlight guy so those are my areas of knowledge. I use it every single day many times.

The Pelican is my current EDC and fav. I consider it the best pen light on the market and I have owned most of them. I went back to the streamlight. A real tool and not a toy. Select your address The new 1920 is about 1/4 inch longer than the original 1920.There are new, dual mode versions of the Pelican 1910 (72/14 lumens) and 1920 (120/12 lumens) available. Overall it's a nice rugged light if you're using it for short bursts. The very compact aluminum 1920 flashlight is designed with size and extreme performance in mind. I gave my 1910 to my sister because she needed a small light to inspect houses. I bought both and am delighted with them. Long story short, the Pelica 1920 is a solid light at a very affordable ($22 shipped) price from Botach right now. I use high 95% of the time.

I've been carrying it as a HD mechanic all day, every day for over a month now. Overall it's a nice rugged light if you're using it for short bursts.

The batteries don’t last long if you always use it on the high setting. Rugged construction. Of course it’s better than the old twist head Maglight in most ways.
