I'm not able to browse to the public IP of the sonicwall where the netextender ip is, the xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:4433 ip+ port, I couldn't even find any connection attempts.
I had call and switch it into bridge mode. In the upcoming 6.5.4.6 release there will be support for sonicwall network switches in the UI. SonicWALL NSA 3500 connected to Cisco Catalyst 3850. The Movistar router does not support bridge mode :(Today I went out an bought 3 Ethernet routers.

A security ecosystem to harness the power of the cloud Firstly, the current setup in brief.
- I have a Sonicwall firewall configured with 3 Vlan interfaces (20, 30 and 40) and  - From the switch I'm able to ping all Vlans IPs that were configured on the firewall.

Now the DHCP server is setup on the Sonicwall (192.168.254.1) to issue addresses on the 10.10.16.1/20 network. corresponding vlans and a trunk port on the switch. For eg. Also, there is no MAC filtering being used and all traffic is white listed for now while we're testing.Virtual Controller Assigned addresses are natted out of the Virtual Controller. Here's my Trunk port ! Check whether the network you are connecting from and the network behind the SonicWall do not have identical networks. Viewed 7k times 1. - I have IP route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.0.20.254 (vlan 20) works fine for 20 subnet, but all other subnets does not have access to the internet. Continue reading only if you're very bored. I've taken this setup to other switches different models and brands and everything works fine so I know the Sonicwall side is setup right.

On the IAP, I have the DHCP server set to Centralized L3 (as the DHCP server and gateway are on the other side of the virtual controller), with the proper VLAN ID (160), VLAN IP (10.10.16.1), helper address (192.168.254.1), and VLAN subnet mask (255.255.240.0).

Access to deal registration, MDF, sales and marketing tools, training and more I would love to her your input on this as I don't know if it;s a firewall or  switch issue. We chose to do this because all firewall access rules and routing are already in place.

There’s a very convoluted Sonicwall KB article to read up on the topic more. The Sonicwall was initially set up by my predecessor with 12 Sonicpoints and 2 SSIDs in one VAPG. Re: Created a new vLAN but no internet

CAUTION: The reserved VLAN Information is not enforced by the SonicWall and the Edit Vlan for PortShield Host window does not check to see if a VLAN tag is in use.

We just recently purchased the Aruba APs and I have configured them to use the IP addresses of the Sonicpoints that we are removing. You mention the VMs not getting internet access. The SonicWALL has "sub-interfaces" (VLANs) V2, V800, and V802.

Attached is my config. If I change this to 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.0.10.254 (vlan 1010) will work fine but all other vlans will not have internet access. If I assign a static IP to a device, then it works fine. I would assume there was something wrong on the Sonicwall side, but it issues DHCP addresses to clients when the Sonicpoints are connected. So, essentially they're taking the place of the Sonicpoints as far as configuration.

Basically, the DSM services that my LAN hosts do not work if my PC is pointed to an external IP and port.

The VLAN Color is a feature to display that color on the switchports in the interface. Re: Created a new vLAN but no internet Also, we are running the Arubas without a hardware controller. All wireless devices fail to obtain DHCP addresses and obviously have no internet connection. Re: Created a new vLAN but no internet The internet did not work, therefor the VLAN information is very important! Auto-suggest helps you quickly narrow down your search results by suggesting possible matches as you type. The Sonicwall X0 interface is configured as a trunk, with to VLANs: a "native" VLAN for untagged frames, and V10 for frames tagged with VLAN ID 10. Tried to setup PPPOE, none of them worked, there was no setting for VLAN that I could see (Cisco (E4200-EZ), ovislink (EVOw300AR) and sitecom 150N). This was caused by me forgetting about a switch.

Only the Virtual Controller can assign DHCP addresses to those devices, really.© Copyright 2019 Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP
