The entertainment system for 30A was completely broken; we had to resort to banging the console after several pairs of headphones did not work.
The media panel is under the seat and very hard (and dirty) to raise and lower the screen. Air India’s 777-300ER product is hardly competitive — in theory it’s not as tight as 2-4-2 on older United 777-200s, but United’s seats are much more comfortable, even on that dated plane. As of August 2010, Air India fleet operated 12 Boeing B 777-300ER aircrafts, with 3 additional ones expected to arrive in the near future. Screen is completely misaligned with seat.

And the Service was the WORST I've experienced. the inflight entertainment on all seats withDEF in my cabin did not work,i flew in22D on 24 june and back on 21D Both ways there was a nonworking tv screen that has a light on it that would not go off. Food and service was okay but I will avoid in future due to poor condition of seats. The entertainment system left a lot to be desired as it was working intermittently. THey charge extra for it now but refused to let me buy it, as their rule states that you cannot be above 50yrs old to have a exit row seat! Views
