It was made in 1966 and Marianne sits in a restaurant and sings "As tears Go By" a capella, so ethereally and high, it's hard to reconcile the young and old versions of this woman. Her studio albums have generally fantastic musicians on board, with immaculate arragements. Fly season …From horses to cacti and cattle, these prints are so much fun! Chances are if you have been following me for a while, you are familiar with Fira and our city living situation. I love Marianne Faithfull's older, smoky voice, ever since her comeback album "Broken English." Her style and the fabulous musicians accompanying her blend extremely well. When I grew up in Ohio, I always dreamed about horseback riding on the beach.
I bought this because I've liked the artist for decades.
I was made aware of how greatly her voice had changed when I watched the Godard film "Made in USA" a few days ago.
