After being a regular for more than 10 years, I have to sadly cross this place off my go-to Bangkok lodging. Its attached hotel makes it possible to spend your time in Bangkok completely immersed in a gay community of both locals and tourists, all in a friendly, casual atmosphere that welcomes couples, singles, and everything in between. The place itself is okay, the atmosphere is specific to such kind of places - everyone is looking for something, cruising. Dark rooms are good for cruising but it was over crowded and the space is small.

For starters, the place is deteriorating and no one seems to be paying attention to maintenance, upkeep or even renovation. System with key to your locker (with 2 towels and 2 condoms) with a number, which is at the same time a bill you pay before you leave. On the other hand, there is no food for hotel customers. We spent a nice evening, What I liked: tropical zone just in the inner yard from where you can get to sauna and hammam. 40 minutes rideThis is our 3rd time to stay at Babylon.
I will say that the price seems to be going up and up though compared to our first two visits without any visible improvements other than the reception area is now enclosed and air conditioned..
