There's not enough depth between the ear pads and your ears. I switch EQs a lot depending what i'm doing and I need iCue for that. Hi, I recently purchased the Corsair Virtuoso RGB SE Gunmetal Gaming Headset and after using several headsets over time, here is my review on the headset•20 hours wireless battery life - only takes not even 2 hours to fully charge•Decent microphone quality, not professional sounding but it's very clear, no distortion•Good sound quality, not the best out of the box but with some tweaking it was really good. It was fine the first day, but I was playing Modern Warfare. Departing from the void aesthetic entirely and carrying very little over from the HS series, the Virtuoso’s a notable departure from older Corsair models. So I was looking for wireless headset and ended up landing on this as there was 1 left at Microcenter so I just grabbed it to try it out.So it's been about a week and a half since I got this headset and I can say I really like it.Great Review!
I get rare crackling in Discord sometimes but I just turn it off and on and its fine again.I have what appears a similar issue in league of legends. More open imo. I have relatively regular sized ears so I'm assuming a lot more people would suffer the same situation•Having it in USB mode improves the sound quality SLIGHTLY. I'm wondering if these have the same loud white noise as the HS70 headphonesAlso, not sure if you've used the HS60 or 70 but wondering about the ear cup size. It's almost as if you've got the "bass boost" setting turned off or "noise reduction" setting turned on that most headset software provides these days•The non SE edition headphones have the exact same sound quality with better microphone sound quality and $30 cheaper•Very expensive for what it has to offer besides build quality compared to other headsets on the marketA subreddit to show off your Corsair build, discuss new releases and find Corsair related news!Press J to jump to the feed. I feel like the size of the ear cups on the HS models is slightly too big and feels pretty loose on the head, so wondering how these compareNew comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be castA subreddit to show off your Corsair build, discuss new releases and find Corsair related news!Press J to jump to the feed. It doesn’t do it in that game, only The Outer Worlds.I never had that issue with Outer Worlds. no signs of any distortion and very clear sounds. Once iCUE turns off everything sets to default and that's really annoying.Have you ran into any issues with audio levels? The Voids even had an eq selector button slash surround on/off button which the Virtuoso omits. Wireless should have the same feature as other headphones are able to achieve this and for the cost, you'd better damn hope it's one of it's features•As good as the material is, the sides are very easily and quickly covered in fingerprints so you have to be careful not to touch the sides•Even with the EQ settings, you're unable to achieve the strong impact of bass the headset is lacking which means it's a build issue that can't be solved through tweaking, it's a manufacturing issue. Might be your pair. Hi, I recently purchased the Corsair Virtuoso RGB SE Gunmetal Gaming Headset and after using several headsets over time, here is my review on the headset. I currently do not have any Corsair products, so I don't need the software for anything else and I do not see myself tinkering with it too much.I don't think so unfortunately. Would the Virtuoso gain better improved audio quality from connecting to a Dac/Amp using the 3.5mm jack or from the 24bit/96KHz audio from the USB cable? Other than random disconnecting/reconnecting problems.Any update on the mic comparison with the standard version?Standard is much better. Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless. One of the best-sounding Corsair headsets, with stunning build quality, and robust wireless technology. 121 votes, 64 comments. Haven't experienced any crackling. Its def the smarter buy and the SE doesn't hold any benefits over other than looks and extra aluminum.Hey thanks for the great review. Corsair claims the headset should last about 20 hours on a charge, and there’s a six-foot braided USB-C charging cable you can use to turn the Virtuoso into wired headphones on the PC. After some adjusting, it sounds really good. I do notice some in discord chat? the software provides EQ settings which help fine tune it•Amazing sexy sleek look which I can't seem to get over•Comfort - it's a little uncomfortable because my ears touch the headphones which over time, causes irritation and pain on the sides of your ears.
