Sign me up to receive emails from GOLFNOW and NBC Sports golf brands. First round it took an hour and a half to play three holes. Normally would be a 4 but but not today when it was slow and a bit dried out .Terrible Experience right from the second hole.

The pace of play was better this time but we were finishing up the 16th hole when the lady from the pro shop came out screaming at us that we had to come back as they cut it off at 830, even though this was not communicated when we booked the time. Almost needed a hammer to put your tee in. Enjoyable round (9 holes only).
Tee blocks have more divots than grass and many times in the fairways there was no grass to be seen. Thanks rates stay under $38, I’ll be back!

Instead they had me tee off alone -as they said there was a nice gap between tee times which is fine if play allows but by hole 2 I was backed up behind 3 groups including one other single golfer in front of me and 2 twosomes infront of him! But trees aren’t the only hazard you’ll have to watch out for as a number of ponds scattered throughout the course bring water into play on no less than 11 holes. Due to social distancing I had to pay an extra fee for a golf cart compared to the other two guys that drove together.
All a shame as the course could be alot better if marshalls and pro shop did their job and course was taken better care of. I was able to bump in front of a twosome of older ladies and when the single player infront of me did not agree to play together I skipped a hole to play with the twosome infront of him. First off, showed up for my scheduled time, seen the 1st tee had 8 carts all lined up and was told in the pro shop that tee times were backed up by 40 mins( how is this possible with COVID guidelines ? We drove to the bag drop and then parked the car in the lower lot.
The greens where not too bad but the tee blocks where all uneven and there were very beat up. Course is in rough shape. I was able to get a rain check for this round as that was obviously ridiculous.Today I went to redeem the rain check which was for a full 18 holes.
It was purchased by my parents, Eugene and Eileen Flynn in 1965.
