The name drop was just too much for me and it just seemed corny. Part two of this book, is named The Dopeman's Wife. I had a tough time, trying to write a review for this novel it was just so average to me, and nothing really exciting to write about. But even if Nautica was being disloyal he should’ve been the one to execute her not someone else. I picked this book up from a vendor i frequent at the local Flea Market, and he told me I should buy book #2 with it, wish I had listened!! Inconsistencies and unnecessary words were tough.All I can say would be that JaQuavis and Ashley are our Michelle and Barak, the Ultimate power couple when it comes to Urban literature. Love makes people act a fool and that’s what bought Tical to his ending. So happy when her ass finally died.
Sex, stripping, pregnancy, anger, love, plotting, lying, stealing, drugs, liquor, jealousy, rape, abuse, murder, and backstabbing. And if Nautica would have come clean maybe it would have ended differently. And it just fails. So much could have been avoided from her just coming out with it once Loom started blackmailing her. The story had quite a few grammatical errors but that didnt stop me from reading it (I mean...come on its Jaquavis Coleman: one of the hottest street fiction writers). The allure of the fast like pulled her into a world of scandal, schemes, and hustling. My biggest problem with The Dopeman's Wife is that the novel is so erratic.

I never read JaQuavis as a stand along author and he did ok so what.The word that pops into my head to describe this book is colourful. It's all over the place.
My first gripe about this novel is the title, it totally baffles me. Sad thing about Millie was no matterOnly two likeable characters in this book and that was Mille and Gunplay. JaQuavis Coleman is one half of the New York Times bestselling duo Ashley & JaQuavis. My biggest problem with The Dopeman's Wife is that the novel is so erratic. I don't get the title but the book was awesome! Don't get me wrong, I couldn't put the book down it had lots of suspense, but something was just missing. She didnt leave a good impression and was not memorable so I think I'll pass on that one, and I wish Ashley and JaQuavis would stop killing everyone....it's depressing!Let me start of by saying this is ONE HELL OF A BOOK!! I cannot finish it and I won't invest any additional time into it when I have other great novels I want to read this year. And if Nautica would have come clean maybe it would have ended differently. The ending def made me mad too because Nautica could have just been real with Tical especially since she was annoying me with the back and forth about about she loveeee him and don't want to lie to him no mo'.
However I did like the little twist with Loon And Millie, made it a little more interesting.
