We already have SingStar so we knew that our girls, aged 9 & 10, were ready for more karaoke fun! I was really looking for something that was more like actual Karaoke, where you can just sing the song, but this makes you sing in a way that makes you sound horrible to stay within the lines .....Like Guitar hero, gotta play inside the lines. I bought this for my 12 year old daughter (who is an accomplished singer) and she and her friends have a blast with it. Also, Where's Paula Abdul?
