The village is known for the Lilly Research Centre, built in 1967, to the north of the village. Windlesham Arboretum Circular is a 4.2 mile loop trail located near Windlesham, Surrey, England that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. There have been plans to redevelop the pavilion for many years and in 2015 planning permission was granted, subject to certain conditions, for a pavilion incorporating sports changing rooms, a kitchen, coffee shop/ meeting area and hall. Since that time we have accumulated our own collection and have also displayed collections loaned from various sources.

The cost of maintaining a sports pavilion alone would be too much for the village clubs and the management committee to cover.A building that can accommodate other non-sport users would also be of benefit to a wider group of the community.In years past the pavilion has been used by a pre-school, the local Cub pack and was available for hire for parties and meetings. We are also grateful to Foramaflow who carry out the grounds maintenance and undertake far more work than they charge us for. In the 13th century it was likely that Windlesham was occupied only along the Windle Brook and may not have had a name.

Club History. Windlesham manor originally belonged to the Priory of St Margaret, a house for Benedictine nuns, in Sunninghill, Berkshire, and documents survive from 1318..
