The only game that advertises power-sliding into water towers, and doesn't deliver! The first thing that struck me as peculiar about Ubisoft's Emergency Heroes was during the opening cinema. However, there are only a few different mission types, such as putting out fires, saving civilians, or inflicting enough damage on an enemy car to knock it off of the road.

Emergency Mayhem, recently released on the Wii, was just that -- and it was not well-received by critics and gamers alike. Reviews; Emergency Heroes – WII – Review. Generally unfavorable reviews Despite the fact that it isn’t quite a cinema scene, but more of a random assortment of things that might or might not happen in the game, there is a sequence in which one of the emergency vehicles - a futuristic police car to be precise - power slides into a water tower. Emergency Heroes feels very rushed since there's just not much to it.

All Rights Reserved. Wii Become a real-life hero – drive the coolest, high-tech rescue vehicles to SAVE your city.Emergency Heroes is the open world rescue driving game that is designed for the next generation of young rescue heroes.Race to the scene in advanced police, fire and EMT rescue vehicles that let you jump over four-lane highways, power-slide into water towers and track down criminals at high speeds. In the end, it's a game that's so generic and devoid of fun that it actively sucks the life out of you as you play it. The actual controls are intuitive, but it’s almost impossible to make a turn at any high rate of speed. It’s the same four mission types over and over until it's over.Emergency Heroes is seriously about four hours long. It consists of seven different game types that are all very limited, essentially just ripping off the single-player missions. The single-player game is a five-hour slog through dull missions, and the introduction of friends in multiplayer does little to alleviate the boredom.

Emergency Heroes Review. Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout [Issue#25, p.77] The entire game took me approximately four hours from start to finish, and that’s four hours too many for something as generic and repetitive as this.Everything runs smoothly, but of course it'll run smoothly if it looks like an ugly GameCube game with a little bit of sheen. The fact that there is full voice acting is impressive, even though it is written extremely poorly. You control vehicles either by holding the Wii Remote on its side or by using one of the many Wii Wheel-style peripherals, such as the one bundled with Mario Kart. Emergency Heroes is borderline shovelware -- but without that $20 price tag.

However, there are some issues that make the oft-required sharp turns rather difficult. I was kinda pissy when I missed the chance to claim this game.
