Over the past 30 years we have kept true to our original mission to discover the truth behind the bombing, seek justice for our loved ones, ensure the airline industry maintains and improves safety measures, educate the public about this incident and support one another.Despite the rather brisk wind on this past December 21, we met once again at the Scottish Cairn at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia at 1:30 p.m. for a service marking the 27th anniversary of the Pan Am 103 bombing over Lockerbie, Scotland.Chaplain Joe Mason of the U.S. Army offered both the invocation and benediction; the Pender United Methodist Church Choir of Fairfax, Va., sang two musical songs, as well as the National Anthem; and our new bagpiper, Kevin Donnelly, played three pieces.As some of you may know, I was approached a few months ago by three 2015 Remembrance Scholars from Syracuse University to see if I would be interested in having Dark Elegy as a permanent installation on University's Campus. Of course, I have always thought SU to be a terrific place for Dark Elegy to find its permanent home, and have been working with these scholars to gain support for the initiative.
