My personal work has continued to evolve since I first received a compliment on the quality of one of my snapshots in elementary school - I thought I should focus my efforts on drawing and music but I wasn't getting many compliments for either. But like any business, it was 'bread-and-butter' work which kept the studio busy, including commissions for portraits of local family groups, weddings, babies, local businessmen, clergy and stage actors.
