The menu had listed on a QR code so we could be safe as well as our server was very well protected even on a hot day the food was excellent we started with deviled eggs and asparagus fries.

Our intimate restaurant features a chic island bar, walls of glass and an outdoor patio, perfect for people watching. Nice, friendly employees.

Fun decor, lots to look at.…""This location is a hit or miss. We have been here before too. It is tried and true but not my favorite by any means. The restaurant is small with a patio that has several tables. The staff was very accommodating, quick, and safe.

I am so sorry for the long delay.

Everybody was following safety protocols such as using facial coverings and social distancing to assure everyone's safety during the pandemic. (House was being tented). The bar area is tightly packed with not much room between the barstools and the side tables along the wall. Yes, I'm one of those that use Yelp as a retaliation weapon for bad service. I go there just for the eggs and an espresso martini sometimes. We spent a beautiful lunch seated on their patio. I had the rib eye melt and my mother had the veggie burger. Our décor highlights several artistic touches, from inlaid abalone and oyster-shell accents to artistic mosaic tile floors.
Many people were walking by the restaurant and even ordering food to go and drinks to go however many people walking up and down the sidewalk were not wearing masks so it made us feel a little uneasy. Perfect for people watching and soaking up some vitamin D. Not only do they have impeccable service but the food is beautifully crafted. It is PHENOMENAL. Nice spot to people watch but wish they had directed the people waiting to line up around the other side of the stairs so they weren't standing right next to our table since those waiting weren't necessarily wearing masks while standing there.

Had to send one steak back 3 times to get it well done, by then it was tough and inedible. I've had some computer issues and my iPhone doesn't always show my messages. I love their asparagus fries (so unique! Free if you're sitting at the bar (which these days won't be happening), so not sure if they still have them where you can order some for your table but if the option is available, do it! It was hard to find a place to go to celebrate but we made reservations and we're seated outdoor so we would be safe.

Kitchen area is…How is this business operating during COVID-19? We never got drinks we ordered, she forgot our sides.

Super rich yes, but absolutely amazing! From the greeting all the way to the end of our dinner. Nick's is located in the heart of Laguna Beach, on Pacific Coast Highway, across from the historic Hotel Laguna. I have seen waits over 2 hours on Friday nights, but at the end of the day totally worth it!I would highly recommend going here for great food and very attentive and welcoming servers. Located in the heart of Laguna Beach, our intimate 80-seat restaurant features a chic bar and beautiful outdoor patio.
We had a reservation, I suggest you always do too. We made a reservation prior to the second time dine-in was shut down. The service was excellent, friendly and attentive. I'm so glad this place is still open.Thank you so much for making my birthday a little bit more magical during Covid.

There is no loss of quality with any of their dishes from appetizers to dessert (yes, the butter cake is still exceptional!). Nick's is always one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. Not to many of the eateries stay open after 9:30pm .
